We have lovingly restored an 18^th century “grange” into a beautiful guest house next to our ancient chateau, situated on top of a hill with 360° views of the most stunning countryside in the region of Lot & Garonne, in the province of Aquitaine, France.

 

The guest house can accommodate up to 16 people in its 8 large oak beamed bedrooms – ALL EN SUITE. It has a fully fitted kitchen, 2 very large sitting/recreation/dining rooms with doors leading out to extensive terracing allowing outdoor relaxation, eating and drinking. It has it own private swimming pool with sun terracing and the property is surrounded by 25 acres of gardens, pastures and woodland.

 

The English owners live in the ancient chateau next door (which also has its own private pool and gardens) and are on hand when required to offer help, support and advice. The large dining room within the chateau is available for dinner parties or can provide a full catered service – please contact the owners for more details. There are 2 treatment rooms offering massage, manicure/pedicure etc. all of which can be booked during your stay.

 

The guest house is superbly located for travel and touring being only 2 kilometres outside the medieval town of Duras with its shops, weekly market, cafes, bars and restaurants. 40 minutes from Bergerac Airport (Ryan Air and Flybe), 75 minutes from Bordeaux Airport (British Airways, Easyjet, BMI and several others) and 40 minutes from Libourne railway station with TGV links to Eurostar.
